Delivery Policy

We are dedicated to making sure that your order arrives as safely and as soon as possible. 

Our delivery options and costs vary depending on the location of the delivery address specified on checkout. For deliveries within the UK, orders will be sent using Royal Mail (“Standard Delivery”), unless we offer & you choose the next day delivery (“Express Delivery”) at checkout. Orders for shipment outside of the UK, including the EU and the Rest of the World will be shipped using DPD or another courier service of our choice. 

Please note we do not deliver on UK Bank Holidays and your order will be delivered 2 working days later, compared to our normal delivery times as stated below.

Please note Products delivered outside United Kingdom and Europe are NOT shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

We will deliver to your indicated delivery address. The delivery would take place between 8am and 6pm.  

ORDERS FROM RUSSIAN FEDERATION, BELARUS, KAZAKHSTAN & UKRAINE

Please note that no returns or exchanges will be accepted for customers ordering items to be shipped to the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. All sales to these countries are final.

  1. UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

    1.1 Standard Delivery

Standard Delivery using the Royal Mail is free and should take 2-4 business days.

     1.2 Express Delivery:

From time to time we may offer an express delivery service to any address within the mainland UK for the fee shown during the checkout process. Although this is a next working day delivery service, delivery may take longer for certain remote areas in the mainland UK.

Should the express delivery be offered on the Website and chosen by you during the checkout process to receive your Products on the next working day pending clearance of payment, please ensure you place your Order before 1pm Monday to Thursday. Any Order placed on Friday before 1pm will be delivered on the following Monday. Any Order placed after 1pm on Friday and over the weekend will be delivered on the following Tuesday. All next day deliveries must be signed for. Therefore, please ensure someone will be available to sign for the delivery at the address provided between 8am and 6pm.

  1. DELIVERY TO THE EUROPEAN UNION

We offer a courier service delivery to the EU and charge Euro 18 (including Euro 3 UK VAT) for each delivery. Your Order will usually arrive within 3-5 working days from the date of shipment.

All deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure your delivery address is attended. We recommend providing a business address where possible, or where someone will be able to sign for the delivery between 8am and 6pm.

Orders delivered outside of the UK may incur duties and taxes, which become applicable when Order delivery reaches your destination. You will be responsible for paying any customs duties and/or sales taxes that are relevant to your Order.

  1. DELIVERY TO THE USA

We offer a courier service delivery to the USA and charge USD 25 for each delivery. Your Order will usually arrive within 3-5 working days from the date of shipment.

All deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure your delivery address is attended. We recommend providing a business address where possible, or where someone will be able to sign for the delivery between 8am and 6pm.

Orders delivered outside of the UK may incur duties and taxes, which become applicable when Order delivery reaches your destination. You will be responsible for paying any customs duties and/or sales taxes that are relevant to your Order.

  1. REST OF WORLD DELIVERY

We offer a courier service delivery worldwide. For delivery to all destinations excluding the European Union, UK & US we charge Euro 25 for each delivery. Your Order will usually arrive within 4-7 working days from the date of shipment.

All deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure your delivery address is attended. We recommend providing a business address where possible, or where someone will be able to sign for the delivery between 8am and 6pm.

  1. DELIVERY ADDRESS

We are unable to redirect your order once it has been dispatched. Please ensure that you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

  1. TRACKING THE ORDER

Each Order will be assigned a tracking number as soon as it leaves the warehouse, enabling us to locate your package. When your order has been dispatched, we will contact you directly with an order tracking number.

If you have not received your Order within 10 working days from the day it was dispatched or if at any time you have a question regarding the status of your Order, please contact us directly at shop@a-mere-co.com and we will be happy to look into your request and assist you in any way we can.

  1. TAXES & DUTIES

If you order items for delivery outside of the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes that are your responsibility where they apply. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, and they remain the responsibility of the customer. If local import taxes apply, the shipping company will contact you by telephone once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. This may delay your delivery time, as goods held at customs will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods. Please be aware that if you choose not to pay the import taxes, we will charge any additional costs incurred by us to you.

Please note that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities. You are considered the importer of record for the items you order through our website and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the items are to be delivered. A Mere Co. Limited is required by law to declare an accurate commercial value on all non-EU shipments. We are unable to honour any requests to adjust the actual value of an order on the customs documentation.

  1. ITEM AVAILABILITY

Because stock quantities are not updated in real time, items may be sold out at the time of purchase. If a sold-out item is purchased, you will be notified by email and will get a full refund.

  1. RESTRICTIONS

We do not offer shipping to PO Box addresses.

Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to have the shipment redirected to an alternative address.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Is it safe to shop from your site?

We are operating in line with advice from the World Health Organisation and the local authorities. As advised by Royal Mail – “Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses do not survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels”. 

Will I still receive my order?

Yes. All postal services are still running, but your order will most probably be delayed. 

Even though countries have closed their borders and have isolation practices in place, this relates to the movement of people not goods. We continue to provide a service to all countries however delays are expected due to the countries’ authorities applying special orders, e.g. quarantine or special measures being implemented by the local postal/delivery service to minimise the spread of the virus.
