Return policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return for any reason.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

We process our returns through a self-service portal. Please follow these steps:

  1. Log In: Go to our Account Page and enter the email address you used to place your order.

  2. Verify: Input the temporary verification code sent to your email.

  3. Select Order: Choose the order you would like to return and click "Request Return".

  4. Submit: Select your reason for the return and submit the request.

Shipping & Return Labels

Once we review and approve your return request:

  • You will receive an automated confirmation email.

  • Shortly after, you will receive an email from DHL containing a return link.

  • Click the DHL link to verify your package dimensions, enter your address, and select whether you would like a courier pickup or a package drop-off.

  • Generate and download your shipping label, attach it to your box, and send the parcel back to us.

Please Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return through our portal will not be accepted.

Return Fees and Deductions

All applicable shipping fees and customs clearance deductions are calculated by region and will be withheld from your final refund:

Region Return Fee Duties & Taxes / Additional Fees
UK £7 Full amount (including VAT) refunded.
EU £15 Full VAT refund; 5% administrative fee deducted for customs clearance.
US £25 15% of order value deducted to cover prepaid US import clearance.
Rest of World £30 Local duties and taxes paid by the customer are non-refundable.

Original Delivery Charges Note:

If your original order total was below £500 and a delivery fee was charged at checkout, that original shipping fee is non-refundable and will also be deducted from your final refund.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at shop@a-mere-co.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have using the steps above. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (minus the regional deductions detailed above). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
